I feel that I should introduce myself. I'm Angie. You may remember me from a few months back. I used to keep this blog updated, and friends and family could stay up-to-date on what is going on at our house. Well, I fell a little behind. A lot behind. I have pictures from April that I've saved to the desktop. They're ready to go--ready to be "blogged." But I can't make myself do it. I'm missing out on the here and now, the way my kids are today, trying to get caught up. I'll save the catching up for later.
Today, I will blog about.....TODAY! (Novel concept, huh?!)
I should probably begin by reintroducing my children. It's been a while, they've done a lot of growing, and you might not recognize them now. My angels at the pool this morning.......

That's my sweet Emily, 3 1/2 years old, and my precious Hunter, all 10 months of him. They are still my joys, the ones that keep me so busy that I can't stay up-to-date on documenting what we're so busy doing. They are our biggest blessings, and we feel blessed, blessed, BLESSED to have these two children!
They've been growing, huh? In the past few weeks, Emily is suddenly tall and thinning out. She's sweet as sugar and the best big sister I could imagine. Hunter is thickening up and getting into EVERYTHING! We are constantly pulling him out of somewhere that he's not supposed to be. We barricade areas of the house (such as plants and toilets), and he just crawls right on over, exploring every inch he can get to. Emily does a great job helping me keep up with him. They play together so sweetly, and I'm loving my time with them.
Now, that I've reintroduced you, we can move on to an actual CURRENT blog. :0)
We headed to the pool this morning with our bestest friends, Ginger and Eva Brooke, and had a grand old time soaking up some sun and splashing in the water. (There's no quick trip to the pool at this stage in life. I was exhausted by the time I got us and all our gear there, but it was worth it.)
Emily kept the crackers coming for Eva Brooke (L)
and Puffs for Hunter (R)
and Puffs for Hunter (R)
And I kept the squash coming in between Emily's
bites. Hunter has an incredible talent for making
any meal extremely messy!
Then 11:30 hit, and that boy konked out. :0)
(By the way, I took this with my new phone! I have
held out for years on getting a new phone, but H
took care of my old one....drooled it to death.....and left
me no choice but to upgrade.)

Precious babies! So glad they have a neighborhood pool to enjoy!
what a wonderful post! AS always!!
Haha! You make me laugh! We enjoyed the morning (and Eva Brooke took a GREAT nap that afternoon). Hunter does win the prize for all-time messiest eater!
Genius!! I have only put my babies in the float in the big pool and have been holding them in kiddie pool! Tomorrow at our pool visit I'll be putting Katherine in the float in the kiddie pool! Thanks for pointing out the obvious to me, clearly Mommy brain has set in.
