We decided to buy a CAMPER!! :0)
We felt a little senior citizen-ish when we decided to do this, but we have since found plenty of other 30 year olds who have campers or enjoy camping. We're not as random as we thought we were. :0)
We purchased a trailer that had been used by FEMA for temporary housing, and we ripped everything out of it. Brad put down a new floor, we bought a new mattress, and we had everything reupholstered. We wiped down every inch of the walls, cleaned it better than I've ever cleaned my house, and I think we were high on fumes for days. Boy, was it fun!!

and, boy, were they surprised when they saw it!
We pulled up in front of GM and Pappy's house.
They thought we had completely lost our minds,
but they were excited for us! ;0)

Good decision! You will definitely make many happy family memories camping!
We LOVED the camper. And FEMA would hire you to decorate if they could see it now!
Lots of families here do this. I'm not ready but if the boys keep camping in the backyard I guess one day we will have to stretch our wings. :)
