Back at Home with Hunter

I can't believe that our baby boy will have been with us 2 weeks tomorrow! We are loving our little family of 4, and I truly wish I could freeze Emily and Hunter just as they are now. We feel very blessed! We're making it just fine.....thanks to Brad's mom and my mom. I don't know what I would do if it weren't for them. I'm dreading the day they tell me I have to do this on my own! Here are some more pictures from our first few days home from the hospital.

We were discharged from the hospital around noon on
Sunday, so Emily was excited to see her brother at home
as she came in from church.

The door hanger my sister made
for Hunter's room-

Snuggles from Gran-

I can't believe I'm a mommy to 2!

Emily is so gentle with Hunter, so she
gets to hold him whenever she wants.

Visits from Betsy (my niece), Big Daddy, and Alicia-

This picture was taken around 3:30 one morning after
Hunter woke Emily. She crawled up in bed while I nursed
and eventually fell back asleep. She's been sleeping upstairs
with K since this night. What do I do once K leaves?!?! :0)

Spoiled? Yes!

Visit from David (my nephew), Amie (my sister), and Nathan-

Amie and Allison (my niece)-

Grandmother finally gets her turn to hold Hunter.

Snoozing on the hammock with Daddy-

At Hunter's 4 day check-up

(He was already back to his birth weight!)
Serious conversations with Daddy-
Tiny enough to stretch out on the ottoman-

So happy for you, Angie! Oh, and you think you want to freeze the two of them now, just wait a year or two when they start really playing and talking to each other. SO SO sweet! God is so GOOD to let us experience the joy of children!
