You may have noticed our recent lack of posts. That's because we've been living in Memphis this month while Brad does a rotation at LeBonheur Children's Hospital. Every first year resident in his program is required to spend a month here at LeBonheur for pediatrics training, and this month it was our turn. The thought of Brad missing out on an entire month of Emily's life was too much for us, so we packed up everything and came with him. The hospital provides an apartment across the street from the hospital, but we had heard it was dirty and not the best spot for a baby, so..... Brad's aunt and uncle graciously opened their home to us and our two carloads of baby gear! Brad has been working hard, with 30 hour call every five nights. He's only off 4 days the entire month (no weekends here), so having us here has helped keep him going. Emily is getting royally spoiled by Rick and Annette, and I know she's going to miss all the excitement when we return home! She has done so much changing and growing this month, so I'm very glad we decided to come with Brad. He would have missed out on so much! Here are a few snipits of what's been going on here. :)
Emily's newest trick- the airplane
What makes it so great... she's actually straining her
neck so she can get a good look at the TV!
Getting spoiled by Luke and Lacey

Emily (L) and Landynn (R) were born within
hours of each other. Landynn is Annette's great niece
on the other side of the family.

Watching TV with Uncle Rick
(Sports channels are her favorite. Is this MY child?)
She loves chatting with Aunt Annette.
Aunt Net can always make her grin!
My mom came up one Saturday to visit. She and Em
got in lots of great reading and cuddle time.

med school in the fall.)

YEAH! I'm so glad to see new pictures! She is so pretty! I'm glad you are staying with the Aunt and Uncle instead of a nasty apt. GROSS! Isn't residency fun?? :)
Good pictures
She is precious and getting SO big! I'm sure that Brad was thrilled to have his girls with him!
She is so cute! What is brad's family going to do when you have to leave?
