For the past several weeks, Emily has been randomly smiling up at us and family members, but there was no "sure fire" way to make her smile. When we woke up Monday morning, it was like a switch had been flipped. All of a sudden she was smiling at every little thing I said to her. She has started "talking" to us and grins when we talk to her. It is so sweet and melts my heart! I think she's beginning to understand that she can get whatever she wants when she flashes her grin!
The pictures don't quite do that sweet face justice. We can never catch her smile at its peak of sweetness, but these were pretty close! :)
