Tid Bits

I thought I'd catch y'all up on a few tid bits from our holiday. We enjoyed our time together, and for the first time in several years, we didn't travel all over the place. It was nice to wake up in our own bed on Christmas morning. Maybe that can become a new tradition! :)

Santa always comes early at my in-laws. We always go out
to eat Chinese on Christmas Eve while Santa delivers his gifts.
Once we get back to the house, we open everything.

Megan (Brad's sister) got a dog cook book this year.
She made all the dogs' Christmas presents this year.
Here she is whipping up a batch of "I-tail-ian" meatballs,
blueberry muffins, and "chocolate" brownies.
They were a HUGE hit!

On Christmas day, Nathan (my nephew) unloaded all
the gifts from our car. He was very serious about
this task, which was so cute!

Betsy (my niece) got a golf cart. Brad had to drive it
from my grandparents' house, across a big intersection,
to my sister's house. It was so funny watching the
traffic back up behind them!

Christmas night, we built a bonfire and roasted hot dogs
and s'mores. Mr. Ronnie's chair broke, and Molly ran
right over to check on him.

Brad's on call tomorrow night, so we celebrated New Year's
last night. We are hoping this is our last picture with the
gang before Emily is added to the mix!

Belle and Beau got a set of doggy stairs for Christmas.
They pretended they didn't know how to use them until
the treats came out. Suddenly, they knew just how to
get up and down! :)
