For the past two weeks or so, my left hip has been killing me. The doctor says it's because of the baby and the new sway of my spine. The only way to relieve the pain is to have the baby. This week it's gotten so bad that I'm not very mobile. I hobble around, and every now and then, my leg completely gives out under me. Yesterday, my mom took me on several errands so that I could be dropped off at the door and save some steps. By the time she parked the car in the busy parking lot and made it inside, I'd only made it about 50 feet or so. Needless to say, our short list of errands took all afternoon. I am officially moving at turtle speed!
I've had several people tell me that wearing a belt/back support would ease some of the tension, hopefully taking away some of the sharp pain. Well.......
I have just spent the last 15 minutes trying to wrap this belt around my belly. I think I have it on inside out and backwards! Half of the velcro is on the inside towards my skin, and the other half is facing out. I have no clue what I'm doing!
I'm guessing this belt won't be helping me anytime soon! :)

Hopefully Emily will make an appearance very soon and you won't need the belt!!
Just have the baby already!!! There is no point in her being inside when she is hurting you:) I can't wait to see her!!!!
bless your heart. i'm so sorry you're in so much pain. but i promise you won't even care about it when emily gets here. hang in there. i'm thinking of you!
I had to wear one of those belts too. I didn't have sciatic nerve pain but my stomach was so big I needed something to help hold it up! Just try to rest and take it easy for the next few weeks. She will be here soon. I was so miserable those last weeks I cried more than I ever have in my life!
Hang in there the end is in sight. Just think when Emily is older you can remind her of everything you went through to bring her into this world. :)
oh girl, not much longer and you will be holding sweet Emily in your arms! It's all worth it in the end...you are in my prayers
I borrowed Christine's belt and wore it so just for support. I do remember the hip aches. I remember thinking (no one told me about this). Once little Emily arrives you will forget all of this. Goodluck over the next little bit! you look really good:)
Oh my stars! You poor thing. I feel awful for you. Wish I was there to help you!!! =(
