Top 5

I have been tagged to post my top 5 restaurants in town, so here goes....

1. Nagoya- Even though we've moved from Jackson, this sushi bar was amazing, and I have to list it! Their sushi was the best I've tasted, and I will miss this restaurant so much. For a while there, Brad and I were going weekly! Their dynamite roll was fabulous!

2. Jerry's Catfish House- This was another Jackson stop, but it's so unusual, I had to mention it. It's a catfish house that's in the shape of a giant igloo, right along the side of the highway. Their catfish, of course, was great, and their slaw and hushpuppies were loaded with sugar and tasted oh so good!

3. Danver's- Here in Tupelo, I'm back to my old favorite spots. Danver's has the best little burgers and great roast beef sandwiches... sliced thin with a sweet sauce. They also have a salad bar with more than you can imagine on it.

4. Ichiban- This is a Japanese restaurant and sushi bar that Brad and I love. They have these combination dinners that are mouth watering and oh so cheap! I always get grilled shrimp with a mystery orange sauce, fried rice, crabmeat rangoons, and a little salad with ginger dressing. Yummy!

5. Grandmother's House- Oh, to be back in the same town as my grandmother! She's been cooking up yummies for me ever since we got back, and I love it. First there was the apple pie, then it was the banana bread, the pork chops with cranberry sauce, the homemade potato salad.....need I say more?!

Ooooo, we love Nagoya too! We can put away some sushi! By the way, we are headed to Ohio for a year.

Sounds like I need to take a road trip to some of these places! Don't worry. I won't go knocking on your grandmother's door wanting a slice of apple pie :)

Angie - I'm sorry that I've not been commenting or reading lately. Life has been upside down.

Congratulations to you and Brad on the baby news! Very exciting!

Glad the house is coming together & hope your other baby is feeling much better.

Congratulations Angie! I've been meaning to leave a comment on your blog but I'm terrible about it. You probably think I'm so rude, but I just found the comment you left on mine. I guess I hadn't checked some of mine. I'm not freaked out at all b/c of course I've been looking at yours too!! ha ha I'm glad y'all are doing well. Hope your first trimester is uneventful.
Love,
Christine
