Today I closed a major chapter in my life. I packed up my last box and sent out my last group of report cards. I am finishing my run as a teacher. Tomorrow we will be loading the U-Haul and moving to Tupelo on Friday. We feel like we're making a new start, and it is bittersweet. It's sad to think that next August I won't be setting up a new classroom, and I feel like a piece of my identity will be missing without the title "teacher." Although I feel sad about so many parts of our move, another side of me is more excited than I've ever been before. We have so many changes on the horizon, and I'm looking forward to all of them!
I'll leave you with a few pictures from my last day. I worked with a wonderful group of ladies (and 3 males), and I will miss them all. Teaching with them was an experience I'll always treasure.
