We closed on our house in Tupelo Friday and spent the last 4 days doing lots of work -- pulling out carpet, painting walls and ceilings, removing wallpaper, etc. I know you're probably tired of hearing all about our move, but that's the only major thing going on in our lives right now. We've been very blessed to have TONS of family helping us with the work. I'll post several pics as a special "shout-out" to all the people who are helping us get the work done!
Our First Meal in the New House

Thank you, everyone, for your countless hours of work! We couldn't have done all this without you!

congrats on the house. I love it...it looks like you guys are having fun :) I enjoyed getting everything settled, that is the fun part. Hope all goes smoothly.
That is such a great house! What neat experience to work with family like that.
Dave's mom has always lined our cabinets too : ) What wonderful mother-in-laws we have!
Its beautiful!!! I love it. I too line my cabinets but my mother-in-law thinks I am funny for doing so. Needless to say, she didn't do it for me.
What a cute house! I love how everyone has pitched in to get you guys settled! It reminds me of my parents coming down to get our house ready 5 years ago!!! So are you guys there for good or will you be back in Jackson? I am so glad everything is going well for you guys! Good luck with residency!
I am so proud of you guys. It is so great Brad got the residency he wanted and y'all could move back home! Your house is great!

Wow. That IS a blessing to have all those cheerful helpers. And we are not tired of hearing about the house- we're excited with you. =) I love your house. I can't wait to see it when you're "done." Will you ever really be done, though? I always like to have projects going on.
Oh, and where exactly in Jackson were you? My middle school years were in Brandon, and we went to church at Skyway Hills. Just wondering...
And are you a Sardis Lake Christian Camp kid? If not, you should totally send your kids there! Best memories of my life (except maybe LU) are from SLCC.
