Pitter, Pitter, Patter

We are all sick at our house-- well, everybody but me. I'm sure the nasty cold virus will hit me next, but for now, I'm really grateful that I feel well enough to stay up with these feverish babies at night and do lots of holding during the daytime hours.

We decided we might as well play in the rain today. (And, no, it doesn't make you more sick to be in the rain....) It's not often that we get a good puddle-playing rain. It was a steady, gentle rain all afternoon with no thunder or lightning, so we headed outside to find some puddles. Emily loves getting to wear her boots and carry her umbrella. We just let Little Man hang out in his diaper. He had already snotted up his shirt, so this was the perfect pre-bath. :0)

I have loved having the cooler temperatures today, and I am a huge fan of relaxing rainy days--excellent nap days. Hope everyone out there got in some good down-time, too.
