My baby boy is walking!! Hunter just knocked our socks off by walking across the kitchen floor! Best part-- we were all there together, and we all got to see it! :0)
Emily and I were spraying ants, and Hunter decided he wanted that spray bottle. He just took off walking towards it. His steps were slow but very steady. It was like he was thinking about it and had figured it out. I was able to grab the camera and the video camera and capture everything! (You KNOW I liked that!) He stopped midway and did lots of big, proud grins for us, and then he took off again towards that spray bottle.
What's so funny is that the spray bottle is also what started his crawling. He crawled for the first time in that very same spot, for the very same reason. Our boy loves to go after things he's not supposed to have.
So here we are, three days out from his first birthday, and our little man has taken his first steps! (Somebody pass the Kleenex......)
