Boston- Part 4

Back at the apartment, the girls warmed up over a good book.
We used a dining-in service and had pizza from
Regina Pizzeria delivered.
Back at the hotel, Emily was super excited to find gummy bears and Twizzlers. We had originally thought the milk and cookies delivery would be a nightly thing, but it was only a first night thing. Poor little Emily would ask, "I wonder if they remembered my cookie today?" every night as we headed back to the hotel. Well, Brad and I just couldn't take it anymore and bought a few little treats to leave out for her. We snuck them out on the table as we left the last two days, and she was happy as a lark each night when she
found her treats! We're softies!
:0)
We also headed up to the pool one night to play.Seriously.....CUTE! Oh, Hunter, you melt
my heart with that little round belly, your
rolly poly arms and legs, and that toothless grin!
Your whole face lights up when you smile, and that
makes your mommy light up, too! I love you so much!
And you, precious Emily, are the epitome
of adorable! The things you think about in that
little head and the sweet things you say just melt
my heart and bring tears to my eyes! Your energy
and dramatic flair keep me smiling. You have such
an expressive way, and I'm so proud of you!
Hunter took his first dip in the pool
in Boston, MA! He was very intrigued
by the water and couldn't stop staring at it!

A quick ride on the virtual exercise bikes-- Neato!
They gave us robes to wear back to the room
after our swim.

There was one restaurant we had to visit
twice--M.J. O'Connor's. They had calamari with this
papaya-pepperoncini salsa with a rice wine
vinaigrette that was FABULOUS!!!
We were hooked. In fact, I could go for
some of this right now!

We also visited the Children's Museum on
this trip. Emily loved this special time.
This was about as far as we got. Anything higher than this seemed scary to our sweet girl.
(It went up 3 stories, so I was just fine with her staying low!)

Bubble station

H liked the mirrors.
E was very into the rules you could place
on the magnetic board in the kindergarten room.
We had to go back to drive the school bus several times.
And "market" is a favorite of hers, for sure!
We had to pull her out of here at closing time.
Dinner one last time with Ashley, Jennifer, and Kenzie-- at Maggiano's.
That little hook is where we hung our shoes in a bag
to have them polished while we were sleeping.
How fun is that?!
More treats "from the hotel" ;0)
Our shoes all polished and wrapped up in tissue paper
Heading down to the taxi to take us to the airport and back to MS!

We had a WONDERFUL trip and really enjoyed our time together as a family of 4! Brad said his conferences were really good, and we almost had to pay a fee toting his HUGE notebook of geriatrics information back on the plane with us. We really enjoyed our time with Ashley, Jennifer, and Kenzie and can't wait to have them back in MS again!
