Yep, I'm just now getting around to putting up Thanksgiving pictures. At this point, I almost feel like I should say "Thanksgiving 2010!" :0) We spent the day on the road, visiting with both of Brad's grandmothers, aunts, uncles, and cousins in two different towns. This was Hunter's big debut for most everyone in the family, and our precious boy did not disappoint! He was all smiles, and Emily did a wonderful job introducing him to everyone!
Riding the tractor with Daddy-
She was terrified of things like this last year!
Trying to get a sweet brother/sister shot-
Hunter looks thrilled, right? And Emily kept saying,
"Hunter's knocking me over!" He's almost as big as she is!
And here, she told us, "My eyes keep closing!"
At this point, we gave up hopes of a good picture. :0)
Hunter, Megan(Brad's sister), Mrs. Kathy(Brad's mom), Emily
Tyler (Brad's brother) chopping wood for Mamaw
Look at those handsome men! :0)
Our family(And don't worry....I got a haircut soon after this!)
Hunter and Aunt Megan
(I have a sweet picture of Megan and Emily
just like this one.)
Emily never took a nap in all the excitement, but that
afternoon, she crawled up in Uncle Tyler's lap and got
very still. She said it was "comportable."
Emily and Mamaw
After supper at the next Mamaw's house, everyone
started playing and singing. I watched Emily inch across
the room and sneak up in this chair. She looked back at me
and whispered, "Can I play the piano?" :0)
K, Emily, and Mamaw
Aunt Megan kept her entertained
This little puppy had been dropped at Mamaw's
doorstep, and Emily REALLY took a liking to it!
She named it Beauty (after Beauty and the Beast)
but it sounded more like "booty" when she said it! :0)
Back at home with the horse Mamaw gave her. She
was singing "Mary Had a Little Horse." She has since
named the horse Phillipe after the horse in Beauty and the
Beast. We love all things princess!
