And So It Begins.....

Back in November, Brad and I took Emily to see Disney on Ice. She LOVED it and has been talking about it ever since. She had not seen any of the Disney movies before this, so I was whispering to her throughout the show, explaining the storyline for each princess. She was completely 'taken' by the whole princess thing, and that is all we do now days! It's even what she picked for her birthday party this year--more to come as I try to catch up. So, our love of all things princess has officially begun....... :0)

Before the show:
She would not wear the sweet outfit I had picked out (looks
like we have a real princess on our hands!), but she did
want to wear a crown and take her princess wand and Ariel doll.

She was holding her crown on because she's still a
little paranoid about the wind blowing things off.

K gave Emily some spending money for the show,
so she picked out some cotton candy and a Beast doll.
She had been a little nervous about the beast, but I had been
talking to her about how Belle teaches him to be nice and he
becomes a prince. She decided that was the perfect keepsake
because she could scare everyone with him. :0)

When the princesses waved to the crowd, she waved right
back like she was the only one in the room they were
looking at. It was so sweet!

Back at home, she wore her Minnie crown that came
with her ($10!!) cotton candy. Aunt Megan had been
playing with Hunter while we were at the show and
brought this armadillo for Emily........because my
precious princess LIKES armadillos......as random as
that is! She seems them at K's house and thinks they're
great. She also tells me they're "ugly." :0)
