Family Fun Night and Some More from October...

Brad brought home some dry ice from work on October 15th, and it turned the evening into a family fun night. First, Daddy stuffed a water bottle with dry ice and water to put on a little show for Emily. Let's just say that I'm glad he waited until he was outside to seal the bottle off and throw it. BOOM!! See what was left of the bottle?!
Then we made our own "spooky house" with the rest of the dry ice. Emily was a little nervous to touch it at first.
Then Emily and Brad had stroller races while I put out our pumpkins and mums on the porch. Emily did NOT want to have her picture made with the pumpkins, but I was able to capture the wild ride on the stroller as they rounded the corner!
Once back inside, we decided to practice Emily's pink lamb nose for her Halloween costume. She did really well (and I wasn't certain she would).
She actually liked the face paint so much that she did a little drawing on Mommy and Daddy's faces, too! We ended up looking like Thanksgiving Indians in all our paint by the time she was done. :0)

And here are a few more pictures from October as I try (once again!) to catch up....

10/10/10--
Brad gave Hunter his first bottle as we arrived home
from our beach trip. Hunter sucked the bottle dry
and didn't bat an eye. Emily would never take a bottle,
so we were shocked with how well he did!

10/11/10--
Emily loves having storytime with her babies.
She gathers them all around and then yells,
"Storytime!" really loudly before she reads to them. :0)

10/12/10--
Hunter is getting so big! We think he looks so much
like Emily did as a baby--just a boy version!

10/16/10--

side yard as the city FINALLY completed
