Anniversary Trip- 7 Happy Years

Brad and I celebrated our 7th anniversary back on June 21st. We're usually pretty bad about doing actual celebrations on holidays and events, but we've been trying harder lately. We left Emily with Brad's parents and headed to Memphis for the night. We did a bunch of nothing, which is exactly what we love to do. :0)

Me and my sweetie-- Brad did the hotels.com
booking, and we got a great room at a steal in downtown
Memphis. (28 weeks pregnant at this time)

It was off for dessert at the Melting Pot first.
Yes, dessert was first, because we were celebrating!

Then we headed back to the hotel for a wide
assortment of Buffalo Wild Wings....really, we're
easy to please!

We dropped by the Peabody the next day to check
out the ducks while we were so close. We tried eating
at Texas de Brazil (spelling?), but they were closed.
We tried a place downtown called Automatic Slim's......
we'd be very slim if that was the only place we had to eat!
I won't be recommending that one to anybody!

We'd had a lot going on during that time, so it was nice to get away just the two of us. I'm very thankful for Brad and love being married to him. Thanks for sticking around the past seven years, Brad! :0)
