One of the perks of our new house is that it comes with a neighborhood pool. Emily and I went to check it out yesterday, and I am thinking this is going to be a great summer! They had a kiddie pool, and she loved it! She jumped right in and started talking to the other little boy there. I was hearing things like, "You hold the net, Jason. I pour the water." , "I got my swimsuit wet!", and "I jump in, Mommy!" She was much braver than I had anticipated! She lost her balance at one point and went under, but that booger kicked her legs and paddled her arms and came straight to the top by the time I picked her up. She was so proud of herself!! (And I was very proud, too!) By the time we left, she had a little tan, and I had a little burn. Guess she takes after her Daddy! :0) (Don't worry grandparents, she was decked out in 55 SPF.....and me, too)
Hope everyone else is staying cool and enjoying the sunshine! I've decided this is going to be a very LONG, HOT SUMMER with baby Hunter on board!
