January Pictures

Just wanted to share a few pictures from January:

Playing with her puzzle-
Her independence amazes me. She'll decide she wants to
do something, so she'll just head out by herself to get it. She'll
put it away by herself, too, when you remind her.

She's been enjoying the CD player and new CDs that Santa
left for her. She knows how to start and stop the songs by
herself, and she's getting closer to knowing how to change
the CD on her own, too.

I know the time for her first haircut is drawing near, so I got
a little sentimental one day and had to take some pictures.
She was eating pizza in the sink and was preoccupied, so
she played along well for me! I'm going to miss those
sweet, golden curls!

Emily is the sweetest little mommy to her babies.
She packs bags for them and takes them on stroller rides
through the house. She's also really good about
feeding them and changing their poo poo diapers. :0)

The potty training effort has begun again. She was
doing really well back at 20 months, but when she
lost interest, we just let it fizzle. Now that she's 2, we're
trying to use the potty in the mornings again. This day I
could only convince her to potty if she could put
stickers on her nose....and Mommy's and Daddy's noses, too!

Gran took Emily to Baskin Robbins for ice cream right
before her birthday. She was very excited about this
adventure. Of course, when we got there, she picked the
"purple, blue, and other colors that really stain" sherbert.
We ended up with strawberry, but she quickly
moved on to Gran's ice cream because it was in a CONE!
