December 2009

Getting closer to being caught up......

Walked into her room to find this one day- She is such a little mommy!

Out with the old toothbrush and in with the new-

Decorating the tree with Daddy and Mommy- She loved putting on the ornaments!

Christmas Parade:
Getting really excited about all the candy they were throwing off the floats!
Taylor came to visit and endured the cold with us. :0)

Here comes Santa! She started calling out all the reindeer names she could think of. By the time she finished that, Santa had almost rolled by, so she hollered out, "Sucker! Candy! Please!"

Keeping an eye on Leon, our Elf on the Shelf-

Staring at Leon-

Eating some of Grandmother's homemade pickles-
(I LOVE the way she says "Gran-mudder")

Watching her snowglobe and singing "Let it Snow"-

Brad and Emily made a gingerbread house while I made some cider for Brad's office party. I thought it turned out really cute! All we heard from Emily during the process was, "Candy! Dat candy! Nudder (another) candy! Candy!"

Ava and Emily at their Daddies' office party-

Tanner never stopped moving, so this was the best picture I could get of him at the party :0)-

Christmas in Houston:
Brad, Tyler, Luke, and Emily playing Guess Who

Emily had LOTS to say to her cousin Charlie......not sure if Charlie knew what she was saying, but he played along well :0) -

Megan, Brad, and Tyler-

Mamaw knew the way to Emily's heart.....a sucker :0) -

Emily chatting on the phone with Big Daddy-

Cousins Visit Tupelo:
Emily, Allison, Nathan, David, and Betsy-

Watching a movie with her cousins-

Our new skill.....ordering:
She has me roll down the window, and she "orders" what she wants! It's so funny! This was the first time she did this, and the man parked next to us at Sonic, rolled down his window and listened and said how precious that was!

Clearly, she doesn't get near enough attention:
Aunt Amie, Grandmother, Emily, and Gran-

Singing "Raining, Pouring" under her new umbrella from my sisters and their kids-

Christmas Eve:
After our traditional Chinese supper, we headed to Brad's family's house to open presents. Aunt Megan gave Emily her very own beach chair, complete with canopy and cup holders. Brad and I got our own beach chairs from his parents! :0) Think it's time to plan another beach trip!!

Emily was too busy playing with her new dollhouse from K and Big Daddy to pose for this picture :0) -
