Emily's really starting to link words together when she's speaking to us. She'll typically say things like, "Mommy here play." She does say one thing, though, that is an actual phrase: "Throw 'em down!" At 20 months, throwing things down is really fun to her.....and throwing things down at the dogs makes it even more fun! (We're working on that!)
Before her nap one day this week, I was changing her diaper, and she threw her bloomers into the floor. Hours later as I was redressing her before we went out, I started looking for her bloomers. I was half talking to myself, asking where those bloomers were, and she looked up at me and said, "Throw 'em down." Oh, that's right! Thanks for reminding me, baby girl! Sure enough, there were her bloomers behind the changing table where she had thrown them down!
