July 4th....a month late

Guess it's time I finally posted our "Fourth of July" activities. (Will I ever get caught back up?)

We had friends over Friday night for a little pre-Fourth fun.

Ava and Emily "talking"
(I do bathe my child. She has juice down the front of her
shirt b/c she thought it was really funny to spit it out on
herself just before our company arrived.)

Emily wasn't feeling all that great when we woke up Saturday, so we stayed in town and kept things low key close to home. We didn't get to go to my aunt's annual July party, and we missed getting to see that side of the family. Next year! Brad grilled for us at lunch, and then we went to my sister's house for a short afternoon swim session.

Can you say HAM?!

She loves her daddy!

Saturday night we headed to the park for the big fireworks show. We watched some fireworks shows on the Internet that afternoon and spent the day talking about how loud the fireworks would be, so Emily wasn't scared. She walked around all afternoon yelling, "Pop, Pop, Pop" and "Boom." ;0)

They had to get in a little football game before the fireworks!

Andrew and Ginger

Classic Emily face-----but look...she's getting teeth!

3 simultaneous diaper changes

Emily enjoyed most of the fireworks show in the
comfort of "Aunt" Ginger's lap.
Even Tanner liked the show!

Ginger and Emily--- wide-eyed

Ava liked all the excitement!

Aren't you smart to show her the fireworks on the internet first? :) Love all the pics! And look at those teeth! It changes their whole look doesn't it? So cute!
