Some More From June

Clearly, I take WAY too many pictures. But--- I have no intentions of changing that anytime soon, and I know I'll never regret taking too many photos of our sweet girl! Here are a few more shots from June.....

Emily likes to look through the "hole" in our fence into the neighbor's yard. She's always hoping to catch a glimpse of their dog.

This girl loves watching Barney videos! Brad's mom bought her a personalized video with Emily's face and name in the movie. She likes watching herself....... :0) She also thinks it's essential to press the buttons on the VCR (yep, still have one) while she watches her movies.

I definitely have a finicky eater. She's never been keen on eating much of anything. The past few weeks, she's been into "Barbie" yogurt. It's really Dora, but she tells me it's Barbie. She truly started eating this because we could look at Dora and talk about her and the other pictures on the carton. If it works...... :)

When Brad got home from Honduras, there were a few extra suitcases of supplies left over for next year. Emily didn't mind the extra suitcases sitting around. She had all sorts of fun crawling on them, running towards them and jumping on them, ...... you get the idea!

Emily runs like this when she's excited and showing off.
Doesn't look too athletic, but I do think it's cute!

Why do we buy toys? Emily spends a lot of time in the kitchen transferring items from the fridge door into the floor. I really think she would do this for hours if I'd let her.

Emily is always asking me to get the "gnome" (phone) so she can "tok" (talk) to Pappy. She cracks me up when she gets the phone-- roams around the house, leans on furniture, chatting away....

In our quest to find food that Emily will eat, we tried out some nuggets from McDonald's. We even let her have the sweet and sour dipping sauce. After a few bites, she realized she could skip the chicken and just dip her fingers directly in the sauce. Smart girl!

Believe it or not, I have more from June, but I think this is enough for one post. I know you'll all be waiting on pins and needles for the rest of them! :)

I love those big brown eyes in the high chair eating yogurt and the pictures of her peeking through the fence at the neighbor's yard.

Of course you take a ton of pictures - she's so photogenic and has the cutest expressions - how could you resist?! And, uh, we still have and use a VCR also. We actually still TAPE things sometimes!!
