Today we went to the lake with Andrew, Ginger, and Tyler. Brad's mom kept Emily, and we had the afternoon to kick back on the boat and get in some skiiing and tubing. Because I was pregnant last summer, it had been a LONG time since I had put on a pair of skis. It came back to me pretty quickly, but I was no where near ready for tricks. I kept it between the wake and just tried to keep my head above the water. Tyler had a very impressive fall/roll off the innertube (thanks to Brad's sharp turn) but seems to be doing okay-- just a little sore. Andrew and Ginger got in lots of skiing and tubing and didn't take in
too much water. :) They'll probably sleep really well tonight. I came back a lovely cherry red color. I am usually so careful about sunscreen but forgot it today.... boy am I kicking myself for that! We had so much fun and hope to get back out on the lake again really soon!

I'm so glad that you got to spend some time with friends! Cherish it!!! If you don't realize it now, you will soon understand that it is much needed!!! Even though we LOVE our children... we need our adult friends!!!
FUN! I will never forget our little weekend on the lake with you guys and we hunted that crocidile! HA!! I'm proud of you for skiing! I haven't been in at least 2 years!!!
I'm so glad you had a fun day. I enjoyed keeping Emily! I bet she'll be skiing by the time she's three or four years old. It'll be so much fun watching her learn!
