Recent Favorites

Emily is just getting cuter every day (in my very expert opinion!), and she's really starting to develop preferences for certain things. I thought I'd share a few recent pictures of her and her favorites.

She loves this little dog. It looks a LOT like Beau, and we think that's why she's so fond of it. Notice the way she curls her little toes up under the tray on her swing.
She started noticing the television when we were living in Memphis in April. Now she's taken a liking to Baby Einstein videos. I don't let her watch TV much, so when it's on, she's glued to the set!
Today she got her toes while visiting at my grandparents' house. I think this was the first time she's pulled them all the way to her mouth. I got tons of sweet pictures of this, but most of them showed too much of her "birthday suit" since she had just gotten out of the bath. :)
My grandmother makes little homemade pillows and pillowcases for all the new babies at church. Emily loves hers and cuddles with it when going to sleep. She has recently started throwing it about while playing.
I think we have an animal lover on our hands. She loves watching Belle and Beau, and here she is with my sister and grandmother's dog, Lucy. Believe it or not, we didn't pose this picture!
Today Emily started showing me just how much she can move. I left her on her back in the middle of this blanket before running to throw some clothes in the washing machine. When I returned, she was on her stomach and off the blanket. You can see Belle, her faithful sidekick, in the back corner of the picture. Those two are never far apart!
