Busy Weekend

With the boy/girl reveal party coming up on Tuesday, Brad and I were a little more motivated to get some things done around the house this weekend. My sister and Brad's family came over yesterday to help us get some things accomplished in the house and around the yard. My mother-in-law even vacuumed and dusted my entire house because she didn't think all that strenuous work would be good for me. (I know-- I'm COMPLETELY spoiled!) We'd like to say a HUGE thank you to all our family members who helped us be so productive!!!
Brad put this shelf together and
got all our garage "stuff" organized.

I had this china cabinet piled up with all
my knick-knacks, pottery, and crystal.
My sister helped me make it look presentable.

With a little help from the weed eater,
we found the brick path in our backyard.
Who knew there was a brick wall under
all that ivy?! I think we uncovered about
two feet of extra driveway under all that!

We cut down two dead cedar trees....

...and replaced them with this gazebo.
After having it in the box since April, we
finally got the initiative to put it together.

Whoa! Way to go Ang! We had a big shower over here on Saturday, so that's how our entire last week was, too! :) Everything looks great over there! Looks like you are right at home! Can I give your mother-in-law my address and phone # so she can maybe come help another pregnant women scrub?? :)
