Just when I thought I was starting to feel better, the bottom fell out! I've been feeling fairly normal the past week and a half, and I'd just gotten brave enough to say out loud, "Yes, I'm feeling better!" Well, I should have known that the second I said it out loud, everything would change. I spent another lovely night in bed dashing for my dear friend "John." So tell me this.... when does this so called "MORNING" (ha!) sickness end?! When did all you moms out there get some relief?
On to a happier note-- Today is my and Brad's fourth wedding anniversary! We're going to try to celebrate, but at this point, everything revolves around my nausea. :-) We're not really big on giving huge gifts to each other. We usually just do something fun together....and that usually involves eating. Now that we're married, every date centers around food. Anyone else like this? I'm not complaining. I'm completely content and satisfied with my little life. I love that it's so uncomplicated once you're married. I can't imagine having to go back and do the dating thing again. Yuck!
Hope you all have a good week, and let me know when I can expect some relief from all this nausea!!!

well, here's the bad news, mine lasted until about 20 weeks last time. and here's the really bad news, i feel worse this time. but, it is ALL worth it. hang in there. feel better soon.
I'm so sorry and don't hate me but I never got sick. Seriously don't hate me - I did have serious bladder problems (infections all 9 mos) though. Pregnancy gets you one way or another. Hang in there! Oh I heard ginger snap cookies help.
Everyone's different, but just when I thought I would never feel well again . . it went away. Around 15 weeks or so. Yogurt first thing in the morning seemed to help me out. Evenings were the worst for me - getting anything down for dinner was a challenge. Also, the Preggie Pop candies would help me - not for long, just eased my stomach for 15 minutes or so which helps if you're in the car or something. That's why you need to start planning your babymoon now - something to look forward to when you're feeling better! It was a wonderful experience for us, and just calling it a babymoon instead of vacation made it seem more special and really put us in the mood to talk about our thoughts, fears, dreams and all things baby while we were there. Hope you're feeling better soon!
I'm so sorry you are sick! Nothing worked for me (ginger snaps, eating, crackers, etc.) I did take a little, expensive pill called Zofran and that gave me some relief, but still not much. Ask your doctor for it. Morning sickness! HA! HA! Mine was all day, every day for about 15 weeks. Everyone is right it is all worth it though, but you know that. I love married, uncomplicated life too. We just go eat someplace we both like and don't do gifts either. But I think that also has to do with not having ANY money. Maybe one day I can surprise him with a plasma tv or something fun:)
Sorry hun! Mine lasted about 15 weeks with my first sweetheart and on and off through my whole second pregnancy. Not much worked for me either. I spent most of weeks 8-15 in bed, daring anyone to bother me. But when it was gone, I felt great and was ready to plan. Hang in there. You will make it. I promise.
I hate that you are sick! You did say outloud to me yesterday that you were feeling well! :) Ok...I got relief the minute the girls were born. Even though it was 28 wks and 6 days, but maybe it comes after that?! Hang in there! Can't wait to see you tomorrow! Maybe instead of hanging out with your friend "John," you can hang out with the "Johns."
Love you lots!
Happy Anniversary! I am so sorry you are not feeling well...I hope you get to feeling better soon!
For me, I got to feeling better around week 14 or 15, both last pregnancy and this one. This pregnancy, I felt much worse the first trimester, so I was afraid I was in for a rough time the whole time, but that 14-15 week mark made the difference again. Eating little bits throughout the day is about all that helped me, like a cracker here and there. I hope you get to feeling much better soon!
Sorry that you've been feeling bad. Hopefully the nausea will go away soon. If you were here I'd give you a hug and I'm sure that would make it all better : )
