Emily's Aurora Party

Emily has been very into the Disney princesses for over a year now, so we weren't surprised when she chose to have an Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) party for her 4th birthday. My sister, Alicia, and I work together on Emily's party every year. It's a fun tradition, and we usually end up going overboard. We just love that sweet Emily SO MUCH, and we always have such FUN once we get up to the church and start decorating! This year, my sister made a giant castle out of boxes. The kids were able to run in and out of the doors and color on the inside walls, and it turned out being a very fun idea! Thanks, Aunt Alicia!! Many of Emily's friends came dressed as princesses and super heroes, and they burned off lots of energy bursting out of those castle doors again and again! They looked so, so sweet all dressed up! Parties always make us so appreciative of friends (and their parents) who will come out on their Saturdays to celebrate with us!

It's party time!!
Happy 4th Birthday, Emily!

Ava and Maddy aren't so sure about Alicia,
but Emily is tickled pink!
Emily requested that Aunt Alicia dress up like
Malificent....so, of course, she did!!
Beaded necklaces, painting, and super hero masks

How precious are they?!?!
Crowding around to open gifts.....that was
a little intense for Emily (and me)!

So thankful for my grandmother!
