At the beginning of December, I tagged along on a conference Brad took to California. He has taken on an extra job as the physician leader over growth in the hospital clinic system. It's a neat job that has been perfect for him, and he's done lots of traveling to learn about new methods for implementing change here and has visited a "model hospital" up in Pennsylvania twice to see what the long term goal will be. Anywho, I tagged along on the CA trip, leaving our two precious babies and flying without them-- something I said I'd NEVER do. Never say never, huh? ;) All went well, Brad and I enjoyed our time together, and we even snuck in a trip to Disneyland while we were there. The rest of the time I spent walking around very fashionable places looking not-so-fashionable while Brad went to meetings. We are SO NOT California people! Our lack of interest in fashion, cars, etc was very out of place there. We were glad to get back home to our kids and Southern hospitality!

California - December
I'm attempting to do a little catch-up on the blog. We'll see how it goes.... ;-)
