Brad is head chef around here, and he is always cooking up things that I wouldn't even begin to attempt. This day he butchered his own whole chicken for cooking and made a stock to use in other recipes later. Emily has to learn some of these skills (because she won't be seeing them from me!), and sometimes her observations are just.....funny!
She was gazing down into the pot, and Brad was explaining what he was doing. Right after I snapped the picture, she looked up at Brad and said, "Daddy, is that what you looked like when you were a baby?"
I don't know where that came from, but it made me laugh so hard!
