Birthday Trip & First Night Away- Feb. 11th

For Brad's 30th birthday, I decided to give him the biggest gift I could think of......I agreed to leave my babies (Hunter for the first time!) and travel to Memphis for a night away. He was thrilled to get a night with just the 2 of us and to be able to finish an entire sentence without hearing, "Mommy, what is Daddy talking about?" :0) Our baby girl must be constantly in-the-know!

So at barely 5 months old, Hunter spent his first night away from me. (I stick close to my babies, so this was a BIG DEAL! Brad is the ONLY person I'd do that for!)

We had a very relaxing get-away. We even went to a movie!! (Yes, we're old.) Emily kept my mom busy, and Brad's mom came to keep Hunter. They both did great, and I don't think they even knew we had gone. :0)

It was nice to get away, but we were happy
to see that sweet little guy and our precious girl again.
