The Big Bathtub- Feb. 19th

When Emily was little, I bathed her in the kitchen sink. I would load and unload the dishes while she played in the sink, and it was a very productive time. It did, however, backfire. Emily had a very real fear of the bathtub. The "roar" of the water was terrifying to her, and she would not get in the big tub. It was not until we moved into our new house last April that we started using the big bathtub. So.......with Hunter, I am trying to do things the more traditional way. I've been bathing him in the little tub that goes in the sink, but it is time to move the boy to something bigger. He keeps trying to raise himself up to a sitting position, and he uses his foot to tap the sink handle. It turns the water to the freezing cold setting, and I have to readjust the water....every single time. He does it no less than 10 times while I'm trying to bathe him, and while I recognize his little toes are very talented, it just gets old by the end of the bath! My sweet boy is getting big and is wanting to grow up a little faster than I'm wanting him to! Here are my precious ones in the big tub....I think this was their first bath together. Once again, Emily is helping! :0)
Much better than that baby tub, Mommy!
