White Christmas 2010

This was definitely a fun Christmas! Emily (almost 3) was very into everything about it-- the songs, the decorations, our elf Leon....it was all just magical to her. Hunter (3 months) didn't know what was going on, of course, but our little man brought some Christmas magic of his own....we woke up to SNOW on Christmas morning! It was such a fun surprise and made everything seem that much more perfect!

Emily said goodbye to Leon on Christmas Eve, and
we were all a little sad. Brad and I got a little teary-eyed
listening to her talk to him. She and her Daddy REALLY
got into having Leon around. They would search for him
all over the house. Every morning she would run out of
bed to look for Leon, and after naps or Walmart runs, she
always checked to see if he had moved. She still asks
before bed almost every night, "I wonder what Leon
is doing?" We think he thinks about Emily lots, too! :0)

Reindeer food and milk and cookies for Santa
Santa came!!!
He left an easel, a market, a Snow White dress,
and a Cinderella movie for Emily. He left Hunter 2 pairs of shoes,
a sweater, and some chew toys and books.
Hunter spent a lot of time checking out his new lion
on Christmas morning.
I wonder if Beau saw Santa?
Did you see him, Belle?
Emily ran straight out of bed to the living room
to see what Santa had brought. She usually waits
around on us in the mornings, but today was a big
day! After checking everything out, we watched her
new Cinderella movie while we waited on family to arrive.
Big Daddy and Hunter

Pappy, Hunter, and Big Daddy
We continued our tradition of Christmas omelettes,
and they were so good! Thanks, Chef Brad!
The snow was so pretty!
Breakfast
I made photo books for Grandmother and Pappy
and Mr. Ronnie and Mrs. Kathy. They were a big hit!
Tyler got lots of dorm gear since he'll be
moving off for college next year. Sniffle, sniffle...
We gave Emily some little figurines of Snow White
and the seven dwarfs. She LOVED them and still
plays with them every single day.
Tyler and Emily braved the cold to make snowballs.
Hunter headed out to enjoy the snow on
his first Christmas, but he was over it after
about 3 and a half minutes. :0) He was not a
fan of the giant snow gear we bundled him in!
(But didn't he look so cute?!)
Emily strolled along behind Tyler as he rolled out
the pieces for the snowman. She stayed right in
his footsteps which was so sweet! I'm glad
she has such a great uncle to look up to!

Hunter watched out the window.

What a special Christmas we had!
