Because we had been to the Disney Ice Show, Emily requested a Snow White party this year. This was the first time that she was "into" something that much, which made it really fun. I decided to go with an enchanted forest theme because I just thought that would be a fun way to decorate. (That's my favorite part!) My sister created the most beautiful tree that was exactly what I had pictured in my head. Over the top? Yes, a bit, but we really love the decorating side of parties. Emily thought it was completely magical and threw birthday parties for her dolls for weeks after this. She would tell her dolls that there were going to be twinkling lights all over the ceiling. :0) We had such a fun time creating the forest and a little dwarf area, and Emily really enjoyed the party. Her little friends came all dressed up as princesses, and it was THE SWEETEST THING! Brad's dad surprised us and came dressed as Grumpy. Emily was THRILLED.....I think we traumatized some of her friends, though! It was such a special day, and we have lots of great memories!
I thought Alicia did such a great job! We had the tree,
the magic mirror, and the dwarf table.
Our birthday princess
My mom with our handsome little prince(He was sooooo good during all the decoratingand partying!)
Amy was the first guest to arrive, so shereally got bombarded with Emily's excitement!
My mom whipped up that scalloped edged
table cloth the night before the party--talent, I tell you!
My niece, Betsy, and Grandmother--
Fun fact for you: Her princess dress is the dress I was
wearing the night I officially met Brad at our church's
junior/senior banquet back in 1997. Memories..... :0)
Hunter and Pappy
Aunt Megan (Brad's sister) and Emily--
I LOVE THIS PICTURE!
Mamaw and Emily--
My sisters gave Emily twin dolls for her birthday.
They, of course, let her open them before the party
started, and she toted them around forever. Babies
Francis and Joseph are very loved!
Alicia came as the wicked queen. She even
brought a "poison apple" for Snow White! Emily
acted it out with her and fell to the floor in a deep sleep.
Her friends just watched in amazement. I think they
know we're pretty crazy! :0)
HOW SWEET IS THIS?!
Emily's church friends: Caroline, Maddy, Amy, and Lanie
Great surprise, Big Daddy!!
Maddy and Emily couldn't wait to get into that cake!

They looked so sweet all lined up at the
dwarf table. Our church had all these decorations.
We just pulled things out of the "shower room."
The only thing we brought were 4 grape vine wreaths,
some trays, and Christmas lights. We are so thankful they
let us use all their supplies!
This was the moment Emily had been waiting for!
She was so excited to get Snow White out of the cake
and devour all that icing!
Piñata time
The whole crew--
We are always so appreciative of everybody
who comes! They definitely made Emily's day!
Andrew, Ginger, and Eva Brooke

I wanted a picture of Emily with the tree, but she was
excited to open presents and too hyped up on icing
and piñata candy at this point! :0)
Baby girl wore those high heels the WHOLE party!
K and Hunter
Emily let Lanie open most of her presents.
I am so proud of the way she'll share "moments"
like that with her friends and her brother.
We are blessed with a very sweet girl!
Aunt Megan gave Emily a fire truck
that really squirts water!
