Here is is after his shots. They were out of one of the series, so he just got one, and we'll have to make them up at his 6 and 9-month check-ups. Even though it was just one stick, that shot still hurt his feelings REAL BAD! :0) He did just fine once home, though.

4 Month Shots- Jan. 5th
We went for Hunter's 4-month check-up at the beginning of January, and just like always, he shocked us with his growth. He was 25 3/4 inches long and 19 pounds. To put this into perspective for myself, I went back and looked at Emily's baby book. (Yes, I actually got a few things in there before H was born. Go me!!) At 4 months, Emily was 14 pounds 7 oz and 24 1/4 inches long. She didn't hit 20 pounds until she was 12 months old, and she stayed at 20 pounds until she was 19 months old. She had hit 23 pounds by the time she turned 2 years old. (Thank you to the endocrinologist for recommending ear tubes!) Remember that she was very small, and she didn't eat, and we had growth issues......but it's just so crazy to me that Hunter is already 20 pounds! His head circumference at this check-up almost matched up with Emily's at her 9 1/2 month check. We just have a big boy on our hands! And glory to God that he eats and is growing so well......this is not a complaint from me! We knew before he was born that he was big....specifically his head...and we are just SO THANKFUL that he is a healthy baby boy!
