Busy as a......mom about to give birth!

It has hit me that within three and a half weeks, we will be the parents to two children. I suppose I have officially entered panic mode. :0)

Am I going to be able to handle this sleep deprivation while still being a good mommy to Emily?
Will Emily adjust well to being a big sister?
Am I going to go crazy while in "nursing isolation" after Hunter arrives?
And the big one......Will I be able to give up some control this time around and ask for help?

I have so many questions running through my mind, and I believe those pre-birth hormones have also kicked in (God bless Brad!), so there are weepy moments most every night now.

My biggest stress at the moment is finishing (ahem......starting) Emily's baby book. I am trying to collect the hundreds of post-it notes all over the house and get it all organized into her book. I am finding many blanks in her book that I just don't know the answer to, and that is frustrating me to no end!!!

I have been trying to organize things, and Brad and I have been working on a mile-long list.....although I think we're adding more items than we're crossing off.

I've gotten birthday gifts through October purchased and wrapped. They are ready to go in my closet, and that's about the only project I've completed.....so I'll just focus on that accomplishment to keep my sanity (or what's left of it).

About two weeks ago, we completely changed our nursery plans because Emily was just not ready to give up her room and move upstairs. So.....we are now planning a shared room for Emily and Hunter, and my poor mother is sewing frantically to get it done in time.

We're just realizing what is about to hit (You're smarter the second time around!!) and trying to get things as 'together' as possible.

Although the terror has set in, we are also getting very excited! We can't wait to have a little boy in the house, and we're looking forward to watching Emily and Hunter interact. We are so very grateful for a healthy pregnancy and are praying for a healthy little boy to fit right into our lives and make us feel even more of a family. Keep us in your prayers as we count down these last few weeks!

I'm not even pregnant yet, and I've already thought about all of those things you're worried about... can't imagine when I am 3 weeks away... I will just call YOU! :) Love you and saying a prayer for you. You will be fabulous, I have no doubt. :) Love you!

It will all workout great, Angie! I'm so impressed that you've bought, and WRAPPED even, birthday gifts through October. You are already way more prepared than I was for #2. It's just so fun with two. You'll love it!

You make me laugh. Remember...I told you that you don't go into "nursing isolation" as much with the 2nd. You really can't...since you are chasing another little one around. You know how I WAS...all about "modesty" and such...well it went out the window...even for me! :) Love you!
