Nashville Trip--- April 2-5

Waaaaay back in April, I ventured up to Nashville. I'm not brave enough to travel very far with Emily alone, but my mom was heading up that way for an extended weekend trip, so I thought it would be the perfect time to tag along. We enjoyed visiting with my sister, her husband, and my niece and nephews.

Nathan (Na Na) and Emily

Gran had her arms full!

See those little teeth popping through......finally!
(14 1/2 months old)

All the cousins after church on Sunday---
David, Nathan, Allison, and Emily

I also got to squeeze in some time with my Lipscomb gals, and it was soooo good to see them all and meet their little ones. Chris Anne, Campbell, and Andrew met us for lunch on Friday. I think Emily and Andrew really hit it off!

I also got to hang out with Rebecca--LOVE her--, Eric, Abigail, and Ansley that night. It was here that I discovered my child LOVES pizza! Abigail and Ansley were so sweet to Emily, and I have a feeling they're going to be really good (and involved!) big sisters. :) Then on Saturday morning, Rebecca let us all come back over to her house for a brunch. It was so fun getting to meet everyone's kids and see them as "mothers." I really appreciated everyone taking time out of their schedules to hang out together that day! I had so much fun getting to see all you gals!

Abigail and Ansley's "Hannah Montana" performance--
These girls amaze me with their knack for
remembering names of people and places.
I've never seen anything like it!

The whole crew--
Abigail, Lola, Ella Grace, Emily, Colton, Ansley

Rebecca, Cristie, Laura, Lindsay, Rebecca, and Angie
(with little ones in tow)
I'M SO GLAD I GOT TO SEE ALL OF YOU!!!
I must also say a big THANK YOU to my mom for entertaining Emily on our long drive up the Natchez Trace and back. I would never have made this trip without her! By the end of the drive on the way home, Mom was having to pull out all the stops to keep Em entertained!

Following the ants on one of our many stops

Tears were flowing by this point.....I'm not sure
if my mom wasn't ready to shed a few herself after
the long drive with countless stops!

Ok next time you come to town you have got to call mom and I!!! She is getting so big and I haven't met her yet!! Oh and are there any tv shows or movies she likes? Get a dvd player! We wouldn't be able to live without it on long trips!!

I agree, you need to get a portable dvd player. I got one for my car when i go and get the nephews! Helps make the car ride so much better!!
