Being the stellar parents that we are, we forgot to
pack Emily's pack-and-play...her bed for the month.
Oops! We made a pallet in the floor, and she was
perfectly happy!

Landynn (Annette's great niece) and Emily were born
within 24 hours of each other. Here they were
sharing a plate of spaghetti. Landynn tried to teach
Emily how to eat...she made some progress.
Emily eventually figured out that she didn't have
to wait on me to get her out of her 'bed' when
she woke up. That little head would pop up
over the edge of our bed, waking me up with a grin.
She likes looking at herself in the mirror!
And I like looking at those rolly legs!
I taught Emily to make 'fog' on the windows.
Everything was fine until she started using her
tongue instead of her fingers to draw pictures
in the fog! :)
Emily liked walking with primo Luke.
We played at the mall's indoor playland
several times.
These two became buddies by the end of the
month. Sassy, thanks for being so sweet to Emily!
absolutely LOVED them! Nan actually had brain
surgery while we were there. Annette had fixed
her hair this night to cover her scar and staples, so
we got some pictures. I think Emily is missing
these two--they spoiled her rotten!!
(Nan is recovering pretty well, just to let you know.)

Can you believe we haven't all been together with our kids - ever? Maybe sometime this summer we can plan a big playdate so we can see each other and our kids!
AS always, an adorable little girl!! I LOVE the picture of her "alfalfa" do!
