There was gorgeous weather here in Memphis today, so Emily and I decided to get out and do a little exploring around Uncle Rick and Aunt Annette's house. Emily is so happy outside! When I finally pulled her back inside, she was covered in dirt. It looks like we're going to have a fun spring and summer ahead of us!
Smelling the pansies--
She hasn't quite figured out how to smell the flowers,
so she just blows on them instead.

For some reason, she felt that she needed to move
all the acorns out of the flower bed and into the grass.
She worked and worked on this project. :)
Although Rick and Annette say Sassy doesn't like kids,I think Emily is growing on her. She followed Emily
around while we were outside today, and I
even caught her 'kissing' Em's toes and hands.
Emily also spent a lot of time getting
on and off the curb....again and again.

Oh, yes spring and summer will be a great time for all this year. Emily is soooo pretty. I think she look like the grandmothers. Do you? Or is it just wishful thinking on my part. I get a baby fix on the 27th when Rachel and Alex come up....such a blessing. :) Love ya, Darlene G.
you always take the best pictures that really capture her personality. i feel like i know her from all these pictures, even though i've never met her. i need some lessons. :)
What a sweet picture of her "smelling" the flowers. I chuckled to think of her blowing them. Ha! =)
