Emily's new trick of putting things on her head continues. Last night as we were putting up our tree (late, I know!) she found Leon, our Elf on the Shelf, and kept throwing him up onto her head. She is really cracking us up. Just this week, she has really started doing some funny things. She knows what gets her attention, and she is not afraid to perform. She can now find Leon wherever he is hiding (yells "Ddd" when she finds him....who knows!), she points to the Christmas tree when we ask where it is, and about half the time, will say "Ho, ho, ho" in the sweetest, most quiet voice when we ask what Santa says. Emily is definitely our most precious present of the season!

Newborns are so sweet and precious, but I just love this stage when they start showing their little personalities! It's like they learn something new every hour!
