Emily Meets Santa

Last Monday we took Emily to the mall to meet Santa for her first Christmas. Brad's family came along so they could see Emily's reaction. My mom was wanting to tag along, too, but thought we were wanting to do her first experience with just the 3 of us. (I should have communicated that better. Next year, Mom!) Emily enjoyed meeting Santa Claus and let me put her in his lap with no problems. She stared at him and reached up to check out his beard. I'm sure next year won't go this smoothly! She also rode the carousel with Daddy, but she spent the entire ride with her arms wrapped around Brad's neck. Our carousel here is FAST, and I think she's finally getting old enough to be scared of it. If she hadn't had her daddy to hold on to, I think we might have made a scene! :)

Brad and I had fun taking Emily out to see the Big Guy for her very first time. She's been very good this year, so I'm sure she'll get just what she's wanting!
