We have started rice cereal.... again. When Emily was 3 months old, I thought she needed more food, so we started rice cereal. She would wake up with her stomach rumbling, and she seemed to be in so much pain, so we stopped the cereal. We figured her little tummy wasn't as ready as we thought it was. This past week, we decided it was time to start cereal again-- and this time, for real. We've been doing pretty well with it. For some reason, it tastes better to her when it's Daddy on the other end of the spoon, so I have relinquished the job of cereal feeding to Brad. She's not crazy about the cereal, but she'll eat it. I haven't noticed the positive change in her sleeping that so many claim when they start rice cereal. No extra sleep for us.... just extra gas! Whew, is it ever stinky! :) I think we were supposed to start veggies by her next doctor's visit. We'll see if we make it that far......
She's always a little too "helpful" when I feed her, and
we end up with more cereal ON her than IN her.
Brad does a much better job than I do!

haha! I hear ya!! Preach on! Just wait for the veggies... especially the ones that stain... watch out for carrots and sweet potatoes- that orange is hard to get out of clothes!! :)
SO cute! Feeding the babies for the first few time is challenging for sure! She is a doll...
I don't think William would ever eat the Rice cereal but maybe he ate the barley or oatmeal? Once we switched to whatever the winner was watch out he wanted tons!
andrew's not that into the cereal either. we're on to veggies now, and sometimes he likes those a little better. most of the time he is more interested in grabbing his toes than eating.
What cute pictures!
